New Employee Kits

One of the best times to educate employees about their commuting options is when they first start to work for your company.
TriMet can provide free transit kits for new employees. Companies that use a transit pass program or that are working with TriMet toward that end are eligible for the kits.
Each kit includes information on Park & Rides, transit service and a map of the TriMet system, plus three free TriMet All-day tickets for your new employee to use. Companies that do not use a transit-pass program or those that have already used their annual allottment (equal to 50% the total number of employees in your company) can get kits without the free transit tickets.
The Human Resources department within your company or your employee transportation coordinator can make sure that each new employee receives a kit right away. Orientation meetings and classes are also good times to give out the employee kits.
