MAX Emergency Instructions
Your best protection in an emergency is to remain calm, think clearly and always report emergencies to TriMet personnel or call 9-1-1.
Fire
- Follow instructions from TriMet personnel or emergency responders
- Exit from the vehicle
Medical
- If a passenger is in distress, notify TriMet personnel immediately
- If you are medically qualified and able to assist, identify yourself
Police
- Report any unlawful or suspicious activity to TriMet personnel or call 9-1-1
Emergency evacuation
- Follow instructions from TriMet personnel and emergency responders
- Follow the instructions posted at the doors on how to open doors in an emergency evacuation
