Buses shuttle MAX riders on Yellow Line Sunday

TriMet crews replacing pole damaged in auto accident

TriMet buses will carry MAX Yellow Line riders throughout much of the day Sunday, Aug. 6, so a pole damaged by an auto accident can be replaced. Minor delays may occur.

Buses will serve the Yellow Line from the start of service Sunday and until about 2 p.m. While the work is underway:

• Buses will shuttle riders among the 10 stations on the Yellow Line between the Expo Center and Rose Quarter.
• Shuttles will connect riders with Blue and Red line trains at the Rose Quarter.
• TriMet staff will be at Yellow Line stations to assist riders.

The pole, located at N Interstate Ave and Mason, was damaged in an early morning accident on Monday.

The work is being done on Sunday to have the least impact on riders.
