TriMet offers summer shuttles to two parks
Blue Lake & Washington Park Shuttles return Memorial Day weekend
Starting Memorial Day weekend, TriMet will offer summer shuttle service to two popular regional parks. Both park shuttles begin service on Saturday, May 27.
Blue Lake Shuttle
The Blue Lake Shuttle runs on weekends between Gresham Central Transit Center and Metro’s popular Blue Lake Regional Park with a new stop at the Gresham Library. Riders can board at any bus stop along the route that runs on Eastman Parkway, 233rd to Marine Drive, and to the park. Buses run every 20 minutes between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through September 4. The shuttle will also run on three holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th (on Independence Day the last bus leaves the park after the fireworks at 11 p.m.) and Labor Day.
Washington Park Shuttle
The Washington Park Shuttle enters its 8th year of service on Memorial Day weekend. The shuttle is easy to reach by riding TriMet’s MAX Blue and Red lines to Washington Park Station and taking the elevator to ground level. Shuttles run every 15 minutes between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. and stop at all of Washington Park's popular destinations including the International Rose Test Garden, Hoyt Arboretum and hiking trails. The Washington Park Shuttle runs every day through Labor Day, and then weekends-only through the remainder of September.
