More MAX service added between Beaverton and Hillsboro starting March 2

Rush hour service boosted on MAX

Starting Sunday, March 2, TriMet will add MAX service between Beaverton Transit Center and Hatfield Government Center. The added passenger capacity will operate during morning and afternoon rush hours.

MAX service changes

  • Three additional trips from Hatfield Government Center to Beaverton TC between 7:45 and 8:45 a.m.
  • Three additional trips from Beaverton TC to Hatfield Government Center between 4:50 and 5:20 p.m.
  • The added trips will increase frequency with a train arriving every five minutes during these times.
  • Blue, Red and Yellow Line weekday and weekend schedules will have additional time added to accommodate more people boarding the train.

Bus service changes


Line 15-Belmont
Line 15-NW 23rd Ave

  • Three trips into downtown will be added between 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.

  • Line 15-Belmont will have an eastbound trip added between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. to relieve crowding and help buses stay on time.

  • The route will be streamlined through downtown staying on SW Washington westbound and SW Salmon eastbound.

Line 41-Tacoma

  • Buses will run every 20 minutes instead of every 30 during rush hours.

  • Buses will not run between 9:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. due to low ridership.

Minor service adjustments

Schedule times will change on these lines by up to 10 minutes for better service reliability.

  • 12-Barbur Blvd
  • 12-Sandy Blvd
  • 31-Estacada
  • 75-39th Ave/Lombard
  • 94-Sherwood/Pacific Hwy Express

New schedules will be available online in mid-February, or you can pick one up onboard, at the TriMet Ticket Office downtown in Pioneer Courthouse Square or at Fred Meyer, Safeway and most Albertsons stores beginning the last week of February.
