Downtown peace march means some transit delays Saturday

Two bus lines rerouted off of SW 2nd Ave

A peace march through downtown Portland may mean delays of 15-20 minutes for MAX and bus riders through the city center on Saturday, March 15.

The World Without War march is scheduled from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will travel on SW 2nd Ave between SW Washington and Madison streets. Bus lines 14-Hawthorne and 15-Belmont will be rerouted to SW 4th Ave for this event.

All other buses will remain on regular routes throughout the day. TriMet staff will assist trains and buses through intersections during the march.
