'Downtown the Easy Way' contest
The winners have been chosen!
TriMet has chosen 18 winning entries from more than 1,200 in the Downtown the Easy Way contest.

Contest background
The Downtown the Easy Way campaign was launched on November 15, 2007. Ten designs were created to be displayed on 45 new TriMet buses each month through June 2009. The contest kicked off on July 19, 2008 during the 5th & 6th Avenue Street Fair and closed August 15.
The ad
Each ad is designed to reflect passenger thoughts that illustrate the convenience of using the bus to get downtown. The sides of buses were chosen as the ad type so that the "thoughts" would line up under passenger windows.
