We'll get you there!

This year, take TriMet to Portland Rose Festival events. We'll get you there without the hassles of traffic and parking.

Plan your ride early. Some bus routes that intersect the parade routes are detoured during the parades. For trip-planning assistance, call 503-238-RIDE 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. weekdays, or plan your trip online any time.
Buy tickets early to save money and simplify your ride. For this year's parade days (see below), TriMet has issued two unique Rose Festival commemorative All-Day Tickets at a discount price.
Consider leaving bikes and other large objects at home. Both MAX and buses are likely to run full on parade days, so space will be at a premium. More riding tips

Grand Floral Parade

Saturday, June 9, 10 a.m., Memorial Coliseum to downtown

MAX service

MAX Blue, Red and Yellow Line trains will continue to run through downtown during the parade. All MAX stations will be open. MAX will run on Saturday schedules with increased frequency between Gateway Transit Center and Beaverton Transit Center.

Bus service

Northbound bus service downtown will run on 2nd Avenue instead of 4th Avenue (between SW Columbia and NW Everett) until 2 p.m. Buses will stop on SW 2nd at Jefferson, Taylor, Stark and Ash.

Portland Streetcar service

Portland Streetcar service from SW 3rd and Harrison to NW 23rd and Marshall will be shutdown from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Streetcar will commence operations immediately following the parade. During the parade the Streetcar will provide roundtrip service from SW 3rd and Harrison to SW Moody and Gibbs only.
