We'll get you there!
This year, take TriMet to Portland Rose Festival events. We'll get you there without the hassles of traffic and parking.
- Plan your ride early. Some bus routes that intersect the parade routes are detoured during the parades. You can plan your trip online any time or call 503-238-RIDE 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. weekdays.
- Buy your pass in advance! Special event day passes are available in advance online or for purchase at any neighborhood ticket outlet.

Grand Floral Parade
Saturday, June 6, 10 a.m., Memorial Coliseum to downtown
MAX service
MAX Blue, Red and Yellow Line trains will continue to run through downtown during the parade. All MAX stations will be open. MAX will run on Saturday schedules with increased frequency between Gateway Transit Center and Willow Creek Transit Center before the parade.
Bus service
Buses will run on Saturday schedules. Buses will continue to run downtown on 5th and 6th avenues during the parade. Lines 4-Division/Fessenden, 6-Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, 9-Powell/Broadway, 12-Barbur/Sandy Blvd, 15-Belmont/NW 23rd, 19-Woodstock/Glisan, 20-Burnside/Stark, 33-McLoughlin/Fremont, 35-Macadam/Greeley, 44-Capitol Hwy/Mocks Crest, 51-Vista and 63-Washington Park intersect the parade route in other areas and will be detoured. Closed stops will be posted.
Portland Streetcar service
Regular Portland Streetcar service will run before the Grand Floral Parade. About 8 a.m. modified service will begin, running only along the south end of the line, between South Waterfront and PSU. Between 1:30 and 2 p.m. full service will resume.
Ride to more events
Waterfront Village
May 23-June 7, 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Waterfront Park
Take MAX Blue, Red or Yellow lines to the Old Town/Chinatown, Skidmore Fountain or Oak Street stations. All these stations on 1st Avenue are just a block from Waterfront Park. All buses that travel to Portland City Center will drop you off within walking distance. If you are going to the parades, buy your TriMet ticket in advance at the Rose Festival Merchandise and Information booth.
Junior Parade
June 3, 1 p.m., Hollywood District
Ride MAX Blue or Red lines to the Hollywood/NE 42nd Ave Station or bus lines 12-Barbur/Sandy Blvd, 75-Lombard/39th or 77-Broadway/Halsey to the parade.
BandFest
June 5, 7 p.m., PGE Park
Take MAX Blue or Red lines to PGE Park Station or bus lines 15-Belmont/NW 23rd or 20-Burnside/Stark to the concert.
Dragon Boat Races
June 6 and 7, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Waterfront Park
Ride MAX Blue, Red or Yellow lines or buses to Portland City Center.
