Welcome to Rail~Volution 2010 in Portland, Oregon
October 18–21

The Portland region is honored to host Rail~Volution 2010, and we can't wait to show you our city and our transit system. There's a lot to see and do here, so we put together some tips and resources to get you started.
Light rail to/from the airport
TriMet's MAX Red Line serves Portland International Airport and will drop you off just steps from the Portland Hilton. (The trip takes about 40 minutes.) The station at PDX is located on the lower level next to Baggage Claim. Just follow the signs!
On Sunday, noon–8 p.m., we'll have a welcome booth set up at the airport MAX Station. Stop by and say hi!
Planning your transit trips
If you haven't already discovered trimet.org, planning your trips on TriMet buses and trains is easy.

If you have a smartphone, like a BlackBerry, Android or iPhone, you should try our handy mobile website, m.trimet.org. It makes it easy to plan a trip and check arrival times when you're out and about.

Exploring Portland
Ride Portland Streetcar through some of the region's densest residential neighborhoods, from the base of the West Hills through downtown Portland to the emerging South Waterfront district.

Portland Walking Tours offers three tours daily: Best of Portland, Underground Portland and Epicurian Excursion. (These sell out fast so advance registration is recommended!)
