The following transit systems and shuttle services also serve portions of the metro area, and most connect with TriMet bus, MAX and WES service.

 

Beaverton

RideAbout Shuttle

RideAbout Shuttles, a service of Ride Connection, are free neighborhood shuttles for seniors and people with disabilities who need a little extra help getting around. Currently there five RideAbout Shuttles, each providing different levels of service in North/Northeast, Mid-Multnomah County, downtown Portland, Beaverton and King City.

Canby

CAT logoCanby Area Transit (CAT)

Canby Area Transit (CAT) provides public transit service in the Canby area, with regular trips to Oregon City, Wilsonville, Aurora, Hubbard and Woodburn. CAT connects with TriMet's WES Commuter Rail at the Wilsonville WES Station.

Clackamas-Molalla

South Clackamas Transportation District (SCTD)

South Clackamas Transportation District (SCTD) provides service between Clackamas Community College, Molalla and Canby. Connections with TriMet lines can be made at the college.

Clackamas-Oregon City

Town Center Xpress logoTowncenter Xpress (TX)

Clackamas County Chamber of Commerce, Clackamas Community College, Clackamas County and Clackamas Regional Transit Management Association provide service between the Clackamas Town Center Transit Center, Clackamas County offices at Red Soils and the Clackamas Community College Oregon City campus. This free service runs hourly from 8:40 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Thursday during the Clackamas Community College term. For more information call the TMA at 503-654-7777.

Hood River and The Dalles

CAT logoColumbia Area Transit (CAT)

The Transportation Network of The Dalles and CAT (Columbia Area Transit) operate a once a week fixed route service between The Dalles, Hood River and Portland. The service operates on Thursdays except for major holidays. Connections with TriMet service can be made at Gateway Transit Center, OHSU, Downtown Portland and Clackamas Town Center.

The Portland Aerial Tram is a convenient way to travel between Marquam Hill and the South Waterfront District. The Tram departs every six minutes and is free for TriMet monthly pass holders, Streetcar pass holders, and OHSU faculty, staff, students and patients. (TriMet/Streetcar tickets and transfers are not accepted on the Tram.)

The NorthWest POINT shuttle is a great option for transportation between Astoria and Portland. All POINT services provide free wi-fi for passengers.

Swan Island Evening Shuttle (work site shuttle)

The Swan Island Evening Shuttle, a free service of the Swan Island Transportation Management Association, provides transit connections to Bus Line 72-Killingsworth/82nd on Swan Island, MAX and numerous bus lines at the Rose Quarter Transit Center for swing and graveyard employees.

The free Tualatin TMA Shuttle provides connections to and from TriMet service for employees at participating work sites in or near Tualatin's western industrial area. If you are interested in riding the shuttle, please contact your employer.

C-TRAN logoC-TRAN

C-TRAN is the public transit provider for Clark County, Washington. TriMet and C-TRAN form a regional transit network in the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area. Some TriMet fares are valid on certain C-TRAN buses, and vice versa.

South Metro Area Regional Transit (SMART) serves the Wilsonville area. SMART buses connect with TriMet at Barbur Transit Center, Tualatin Park & Ride, Commerce Circle in Wilsonville and the Wilsonville WES Station. SMART also provides service between Wilsonville and Salem.
