2004 Collectible Poster Series

"Things to See"

2004 Collectible Posters

During construction of Interstate MAX Yellow Line, more than 50 Northwest artists worked closely with neighborhood groups and TriMet staff to create a sense of cultural pride and community history at each station.

Portland-based painter Eric Bowman has created a commemorative poster series capturing the spirit of the public artwork now on display at stations along the new MAX Yellow Line. The series highlights artwork at Interstate/Rose Quarter Station, Albina/Mississippi Station, N Prescott St Station, N Killingsworth St Station, N Portland Blvd Station and Expo Center Station.

About the posters

The 24" x 36" posters are a limited-edition print run using 10-micron Stacatto® screening in the print process to capture the colors and texture of the original illustrations. They are printed on a weighty, archival-quality paper stock for additional reproduction quality and durability.

About the artist

A self-taught artist, Eric Bowman grew up in Southern California where he started out airbrushing surfboards and drawing comic books. Influenced by the great artists of the 19th and 20th centuries, Eric's oil paintings have earned him numerous national awards.

This poster series is also available at TriMet's Ticket Office at Pioneer Courthouse Square.
