Photo of cell phoneYou can get real-time TransitTracker™ arrival information for buses and MAX over the phone.

TransitTracker gives you a better idea of when your ride is coming. Using GPS tracking and sensors in the MAX tracks, the TransitTracker system estimates when the next bus or train will arrive, based on its location and average speed.

Note: If a vehicle gets "stuck" due to traffic or some other problem, TransitTracker will continue to estimate an arrival time based on the vehicle's current location. If a vehicle cannot be tracked for some reason, the system will report the scheduled time instead.

How to use it

  1. Dial 503-238-RIDE (7433).
  2. Press 1 for TransitTracker arrival times.
  3. You can then enter the Stop ID number of the bus stop or MAX station you want information about. If you don't know the Stop ID, press the "#" (pound) key and follow the instructions to select your stop.
  4. The system will list the next arrivals for the bus and MAX lines serving that stop.
