Text transcript of this episode

It's WES Time! WES, short for Westside Express Service, adds a new alternative to I-5/Highway 217 for commuters in Washington and Clackamas counties.

Connecting Beaverton, Tigard, Tualatin and Wilsonville, WES runs about every 30 minutes, Monday through Friday, during the morning and afternoon rush hour.

Instead of traffic, you'll have roughly 30 minutes of your own WES Time to use however you like.

Devote that transit time to reading a book, challenge yourself to a crossword puzzle, catch up with friends online with free wireless internet on board WES, or just sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

What will you do with your "WES time"?

NEVA: "I can listen to my iPod, I can read a book, the newspaper... but I like the fact that there's going to be wi-fi because I can do some email checking before I even get to work and do some pre-work while I'm sitting here on the train."

MEL: "I think I'll probably read, and maybe sleep! No... I know it's a short ride, so probably read."

ETHAN: "Do my Nintendo DS!"

SUSAN: "I'm going to draw... just like this."

VIKRAM: "Well, I love to read. And I love to blog. So I'm going to be catching up on that on the WES train."

WES runs 5:20-10 a.m. and 3:30-8 p.m., Monday through Friday. Start your work week hassle-free and leave the driving to us.
