Get Arrival Times by Text Message

Now you can get TransitTracker arrival times on your mobile phone in a text message. Just text your Stop ID Number to 27299 to get arrivals for the buses and trains serving that stop.

Savvy riders know they can call TransitTracker at 503-238-RIDE to get up-to-the-minute arrival times. But sometimes it's not really convenient to make a phone call. What if you could just send a text message to find out when your bus or train is coming?

Now, you can.

TransitTracker by Text is the newest way to check TriMet arrival times.

It's easy: Just text your Stop ID Number to 27299. Within seconds, we'll send you the next arrivals for the buses or trains serving that stop plus a short ad that helps keep the service free. You pay only the standard text messaging and data rates.

If you only want arrivals for a certain line, text us your Stop ID plus the bus line number or the name of the MAX line.

Say you want the next 14-Hawthorne bus at Madison & Grand… You'd text "3633", space, "14".

For MAX Red Line at the Rose Quarter, text "8377", space, "red". This comes in handy when there are many lines serving one stop.

Stop ID Numbers are posted at most bus stops and rail stations, and we're adding more all the time. You can also look up a Stop ID Number at trimet.org.
