Boarding WES With a Mobility Device

• You can board WES directly from the station platform through either door. There is no need to deploy a ramp.
• Please be careful, as there is a 2-inch gap between the boarding platform and the floor of the train.
• Each WES car has spaces for two mobility devices. Look for the priority seating area inside near the door. No securement is necessary.
• If you need assistance, there is a conductor on board who can help.

2-wheeled devices

You can bring a 2-wheeled electric device (such as the Segway®) on WES when used as a mobility device due to a disability. (Note: The device must be turned off when boarding, riding and exiting the vehicle.)
