WES Commuter Rail Service
Fares
Unlike the bus, there are no fareboxes on board WES, so you'll need to buy a ticket before boarding.
You can buy a 2-Hour Ticket ($2.30) from the machine at the WES station using a debit/credit card. Be sure to select "All Zones" when purchasing your fare, as WES requires an All-Zone fare. (TriMet's fare zones do not apply to WES.)
You can also buy fares from local Albertsons, Fred Meyer, New Seasons, Safeway and Thriftway stores, or online in the TriMet Store for delivery by mail.
If you plan to ride regularly, consider buying a pass. 1-Day, 7-Day, 14-Day and 1-Month passes are available. They're both convenient and cost effective.
Be prepared to show the conductor your fare. He/she may check your fare as you board, or after the train leaves the station.
Senior citizens, youth and people with disabilities may qualify to purchase discounted fares. Just make sure you have an Honored Citizen card or proof of age or student status with you when you board.
Your WES fare is also valid on TriMet buses, MAX Light Rail and Portland Streetcar in all zones. Keep your ticket as proof of payment until you complete your trip.
SMART (Wilsonville transit) fares are not accepted on WES.

WES will run about every 30 minutes, Monday through Friday, during the morning and afternoon rush hour.
