If you are deaf or hard of hearing, these accessibility features can help you get around on buses and trains:
Accessibility features
- Many MAX stations (as well as bus stops on the Portland Transit Mall) have digital displays that show you when the next vehicle is expected to arrive.
- Reader boards inside trains (and many buses) show the name of the next station.
- On the bus and the Portland Streetcar, a sign near the operator lights up when a stop has been requested. (MAX and WES trains stop at every station automatically.)
