40-Tacoma/Swan Island provides daily service between Swan Island, Rose Quarter, Portland City Center, South Portland, Sellwood, and SE Tacoma/Johnson Creek Park & Ride, along Basin, Cutter Circle, Going, Greeley, Interstate, 5th/6th, Macadam and Tacoma.

Effective Aug. 8, 2026 On Saturday, August 8, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., no service at northbound stop 6300 Block N Cutter Circle (Stop ID 11949) due to Portland Criterium Bike Race. Use temp stop on A board approx. 100 ft prior to Leverman. And no service to stop N Cutter Circle & Leverman (Stop ID 11947). Use temp stop on A board on Leverman prior to turning onto Cutter Circle.
Effective Aug. 9, 2026 On Sunday, August 9, from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., for trips to Swan Island, no service from S Macadam & Pendleton (Stop ID 3623) to SW Arthur & 1st (Stop ID 143) and from NW Everett & 2nd (Stop ID 1612) to N Greeley & Going Overpass (Stop ID 2195) due to Providence Bridge Pedal. Use temp stop on Williams and Multnomah.
